Dr. Hussam Asker
Dr. Asker earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he was honored with the prestigious Louis C. Schultz Award for excellence in operative rehabilitation.
Beyond his formal education, Dr. Asker has contributed to dental research, especially in dental implants and clinical dentistry. His work has been published in 14 articles in respected dental journals. These include the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants (IJOMI), the Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Journal of Clinical Periodontology.
A strong believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Asker regularly participates in continuing education. This helps him stay current with advances in dental techniques, treatments, and technology. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Texas Dental Association (TDA).
Why Dentistry?
Dentistry has always been Dr. Asker’s passion. His father was one of the first dentists in his rural community. Growing up in his father’s office, he saw how dentistry can change lives. It relieves pain, restores confidence, and protects long-term health. As the fourth dentist in his family, alongside his father, sister, and brother, he is committed to continuing a legacy of compassionate care.
Dr. Asker’s journey began at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. There, he experienced the rapid evolution of modern dentistry. He saw advances in technology and progressive healthcare practices firsthand. This deepened his dedication to innovative, patient-centered care.
